The ocean is blue and big and green, It likes to behold all the stories it's told, From one night of passing, Comes one day of taking, The ship that will sail to the bar harbor bay, Will be in good name to wait one more day, The seasons just starting there are plenty of days, To pay your way with the fish that you slay, The storm will only take half of the day, That is why they leave at midday, They laugh and cheer until it's beknown, They are not going home, The ship isn't ready to battle the waves, The ship is sinking ten waves at a time, The bodies are sinking right into the ocean, That's why they were told to wait one more day, For the ocean beholds all the stories it's told.
